Seismic refraction on the river Seine – Meulan, Paris region

In February 2014, INNOGEO carried out a geophysical campaign as part of the overhaul of the wastewater treatment plant of Meulan – Hardricourt – Les Mureaux (SIAMHLM), in the Paris region. Investigations were carried out on the discharge pipeline routing. It consisted mainly of a study by seismic refraction of the geology made up of […]
Radar scanning of an aqueduct – Brignoles, Var, South-East France

INNOGEO did a radar scanning of a 1.8km-long aqueduct in Brignoles, France. Innogeo had to assess any problem affecting the substructure as well as the geometry of the structure.
Radar imaging of railway platform – Tramway T1 – Viroflay, Yvelines, France

The group EIFFAGE Construction are entrusting Innogeo with the task of controlling of the entirety of the railway platform. A GPR scan will be done after the passage of a microtunneler. Measures are taken before the start of the construction work to define a platform reference point and after the construction work to make sure […]
Happy New Year 2014 from all of us at Innogeo

All of the team would like to wish you a happy new year 2014. We hope to have the pleasure of serving you again.
Microgravimetry to search for cavities – Wind farm in Joux-La-Ville, Yonne, France
Innogeo investigated the site of the future wind farm of Joux-La-Ville, France. Microgravimetry measures were taken at the foundations of the future 26 windmills to detect eventual underground anomalies (cavities, cave-ins, deconsolidations). More than 2,000 measure stations were set up and measured in 3 weeks by two measuring teams operating simultaneously.
GPR to characterise soil and structures – Saclay Nuclear Research Centre, South-West of Paris, France
Since early 2013, Innogeo has made several interventions on site in Saclay Nuclear Research Centre as part of different nuclear clean-up projects. GPR was mostly used in order to physically characterise soil and structures.
Electrical imaging to locate water flow – Industrial landfill in Sarcicourt, Eastern France
ANTEA Group entrusted INNOGEO with an electrical resistivity tomography and spontaneous polarisation campaign at the industrial landfill of Sarcicourt in Eastern France. The goal of this geophysics campaign was to localise and characterise water flow zones and limits in the mill pond.
Radar imaging of a retaining wall – Railway cutting in Sarreguemines, Eastern France
Innogeo made GPR scans of the walls of a cutting in Sarreguemines for Réseau Ferré de France. A 400MHz radar antenna was set up to make a vertical scan of the walls. The measure technicians operated from the ground with no need to go to higher ground. The goal was to detect potential structural anomalies […]
Microgravimetry to search for cavities – Construction of the archive building, Marseilles, France
The Provence-Alpes-Côte-D’azur region entrusted Innogeo with a microgravimetry campaign to search for underground cavities before the construction of the regional archives building in Marseilles. Indeed, the possibility of the existence of cavities was mentioned in the plans for the prevention of natural risks (Plan de Prévention des Risques Naturels – PPRn). Measures, taken during the […]
Radar and radio-detection to search for underground networks – Nuclear power plant – Local Crisis Centre
Innogeo was subcontracted by the EGIS Group to detect underground networks and sub-soil structures where the new Local Crisis Centres will be built on the sites of the 19 French nuclear power plants. The operations started in December 2012 and will continue throughout 2013 on all of the sites. The technologies used are GPR and […]
Microgravimetry and radar to search for cavities – Brittany-Loire Valley High-Speed Line
EIFFAGE entrusted INNOGEO with the geophysical survey for the Brittany-Loire Valley High-Speed Line Project between Le Mans and Rennes. The investigations started in December 2012 and are set to continue in 2013 and 2014. They consist mainly of microgravimetric and electromagnetic EM34 measures to search for old mining galleries (iron, lead…) and cavities or limestone […]

Sounding of the jetty in the commercial port of Ile Rousse in Corsica INNOGEO carried out a campaign to detect cavities in the body of the jetty in the commercial port of the Ile Rousse in Corsica. We were working as part of their restoration of the jetty project. These operations were decided upon […]

Chauny, Northern France – Underground networks geo-detection INNOGEO often effectuates underground network geo-detection, like in Chauny, in northern France. The task, there, was to carry out an environmental diagnosis of a filling station and map out the underground networks and buried tanks. This will be useful in the event of a hydrocarbon leak so as […]

December 2010 – Vibration studies In the last quarter 2010, INNOGEO carried out many vibration studies. Amongst them was a vibration measurements campaign part of a simulation of structure fall near pipes, a study of the vibration reduction power of synthetic foam placed in the ground, and a study to determine the effects of vibrations […]
